Evangelos Angeletopoulos is an independent, top-performing, innovative and self-directed top executive with 40 years of broad involvement in many facets of management and operations.
He spent a lifetime working in and around enterprise Demand Driven Business Value Networks DDBVN (Market Place/Customers – Business Strategy – Business Culture & Capabilities – Leadership), in many different capacities (Entrepreneur, senior line executive, researcher, consultant/adviser, top executive speaker, mentor and author.
From 1978 to 1999 as Hellenic Navy (HN) Financial & Supply Officer he served in various managerial and operational positions responsible for the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) of warships and major weapon systems during their acquisition, construction and the follow-on logistics support phases. (Maintenance planning, inventory planning & control, materials management, warehousing management, acquisition/procurement, contracting, manpower, documentation, information and communication technology). In parallel he has been involved, with key roles, in many projects of HN.
From 1998 since today as Executive Director of “Arcadia Consulting Ltd” and Managing Director of “Business Logistics Services (BLS Ltd)” (independent consulting firms) he directed a series of special projects, with a high degree of difficulty and complexity, which cover a broad spectrum of business activities and requirements. Clients include companies and organizations both from the public and private sectors, with a range of industries such as heavy industry, FMCGs, commerce, and services providers.
In 1991 he drafted the specifications of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) of the frigate MEKO 200 type and then he was responsible for drafting and negotiation of the relevant contract with the German MEKO Consortium (Dresdner Bank – Thyssen Group – Blohm + Voss Shipyard). ).
In the year 2001 Evangelos delivered the project of “Analysing the Logistics Support Requirements for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games”.
In the year 2003 he established the “Logistics 04 Consortium” and as the consortiums’ Managing Director & Project Leader fully designed and implemented the project: “Logistics Support for the Olympic & Paralympic Games ATHENS 2004”
In the year 2011 he designed and implemented the project “Logistics Support for the Special Olympics World Summer Games (SOWSG) Athens 2011”, which was the year’s biggest athletic event, worldwide.
